Peter Sellers is the main character of the official image of the Rome Film Festival, which will take place from 18 to 28 October 2018 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
The shot is by the British photographer Terry O'Neill, famous throughout the world for his countless portraits.
Peter Sellers will have a dedicated retrospective at this year edition of Rome Film Festival, curated by Mario Sesti and created in collaboration with the British Embassy and the British Council.
The retrospective falls within the UK-Italy project: partners for culture programme.
Run in partnership by the British Council, the British Embassy, the British School at Rome and the British Institute of Florence, the UK-Italy partners for culture programme is a framework, launched in 2017, to support ongoing cultural relations between the UK and Italy, celebrating cultural heritage, the creative industries and best practice in the arts, sciences and higher education.
