Rupert Everett will be the guest of honor at the 40th edition of the Incontri Internazionali del Cinema di Sorrento, the event promoted by the Comune di Sorrento, organised by Cineventi, with the artistic direction of Remigio Truocchio, the support of the Campania Region and in collaboration with the Film Commission of the Campania Region.
The 2018 edition of the Incontri Internazionali del Cinema di Sorrento will have a focus on the United Kingdom, to present an overview of contemporary English cinematography.
The Women in Film retrospective, with the support of the British Council, will present the screenings of Sarah Gavron's Suffragette, William Oldroyd's Lady Macbeth, Nigel Cole's We Want Sex, Asif Kapadia's Amy and Yasmin Fedda’s Queens of Syria.
