Spring Attitude is the Roman festival dedicated to electronic music, new sounds and experimental advanced research, with particular focus on recent generational trends linked to new forms of expressions.
This very successful event has, since the very beginning, hosted prominent figures such as Four Tet, Jon Hopkins, SBTRKT, Disclosure, Bonobo, Gesaffelstein, John Talabot, Slow Magic & more, establishing itself as a point of reference for all those interested in contemporary experimental sounds.
Throughout the years, Spring Attitude has achieved a role of interdisciplinary project, which also hosts authorial figures from the international art scene, challenging limits of national proposals of technological-performative research and audio-visual.
The Festival is divided into two parts: the first with an event of electronic and digital art to be held at MAXXI - Museum of contemporary Arts in Rome; the second, with musical concerts, live and DJ sets that will be held at MACRO Testaccio and Spazio Novecento. Different venues to create an event that can be both entertainment and opportunity to study and research on the use of new digital technologies in art.
British presence at the event:
Ambassadeurs, Cut Hands, Dean Blunt, Glass Animals, Portico, Redinho, SBTRKT, Scratch Perverts.
