With two months of programming, TREND - new frontiers of the British scene is the only italian festival entirely dedicated to contemporary dramaturgy made in UK.
Since its inception TREND has wanted to contain already in the title the essence of its artistic and cultural goal: the exclusive proposal of British dramaturgy, almost entirely unpublished for Italy.
Over the years on the stage of TREND, established actors and directors have arrived side by side in the programming of young and newcomers, characterized by the most diverse artistic languages. One of the objectives of the exhibition is to identify the little-known talents and put them to the public's attention, and discover new works that for the first time ever arrive in Italy.
And this is precisely the strength of this festival: the innovativeness and the possibility of creating a circulation of totally contemporary and cutting-edge shows and theatrical authors.
