The British Council is a partner of Women’s Fiction Festival, an international literary festival held in Matera, Unesco Site and European Capital of Culture in 2019. The British Council will help spread the word of emerging British writers by bringing Olivia Sudjic to Matera, the author of Sympathy (Una vita non mia by Italian publishers Minimum Fax). Olivia’s book will be presented in a public event dedicated also to the social awareness project Parole O_stili and with specific focus on how lives can be dominated by the digital technology.
