Music and singing are by now well-integrated features of the TEFL classroom. This seminar will show how ballads in particular can be exploited on countless levels, as moments of relaxation and bonding. They can also be put to good use for ear training, as with cadence, intonation and accentuation. There will be a live performance of some well-known British ballads, to the accompaniment of the guitar.
