Branwell Brontë, the figure in the shadows
This seminar presents the almost unknown brother of the three famous sisters, most often mentioned only for his short, unhappy life and frustrated ambition to be a painter and writer. His life and works will be discussed together with translations into Italian. Excerpts will also be shown from André Téchiné’s film Les Soeurs Brontë. Language: Italian, English.
