On the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, Fondazione Teatro Piemonte Europa presents six plays which are the outcome of a particularly interesting and original project called After Shakespeare.
The project involves six authors: Nicola Fano, also curator of the project, Alberto Gozzi, Donatella Musso, Sergio Pierattini, Lidia Ravera and Lia Tomatis, called to write six plays describing what might have happened to the heroes of Shakespeare, after the curtain fell on their events.
Puck e l'Allodola (Puck and the Skylark) - An old actor now worn away by the repetitiveness of his trade is playing Puck for the umpteenth time . His listless interpretation of the role of Oberon's servant is reflected in the slow decline of his relationship (which was once love) with a young actress failed. And while vanishes the dream of freedom of Puck, even the life of the old actor and his young lover fades into the drama.
