Live Cinema Festival is a live performing exhibition that explores and promotes all the artistic trends whom is attributed the term “Live Cinema”, through 18 performances presented by 18 artists which have made this narrative technique their stylistic code.

Addictive TV and Ryo Ikeshiro will represent UK at the LCF 2015.

Ryo Ikeshiro is a UK-based Japanese interdisciplinary artist. His works range from live audiovisual performances and interactive installations to generative music pieces and scored compositions. He has presented his works internationally at music and art festivals, as well as at academic conferences. Ryo was originally classically trained. He then branched out into electronic music and other genres. The meeting of these two worlds informs his practice which explores computational aesthetics within the context of our digital and post-net world.

Described by Live Design magazine as “Inspiring an entire generation of artists exploring the crossover between audio and visual mediums” artist duo Addictive TV (Graham Daniels and Mark Vidler) are known for their cutting edge AV performances and their innovative use of video sampling. Remixing everything from classic television and music videos, to modern blockbusters and even sport, it’s playful experimentation and art as entertainment. The duo have now performed in over 50 countries and were twice crowned Number One VJ in the World in DJ Magazine’s annual poll, alongside the Top 100 DJs – with DJ Mag saying “they’ve become famed for their eye-popping live shows, shredding and cutting film with beats into a heady, mind-meltingly funky mixture”.
