Hay Festival was founded around a kitchen table in 1987 and continues to attract the most exciting writers, filmmakers, comedians, politicians and musicians to inspire, delight and entertain.
This year, at the Scritture Giovani Section of the Festival, writers Jemma King, Florian Kessler and Luca Giordano - three international writers, chosen with its festival partners Italy (Festival Letteratura di Mantova) and Germany, have written stories on the theme of Sarajevo. They discuss their stories and the translations with Daniel Hahn of the British Centre for Literary Translation.
The writers will then go to Mantova, in September, for this year's edition of the Festival Letteratura.
