MPW is one of the UK’s leading independent fifth and sixth-form college groups, with three colleges located in London, Birmingham and Cambridge. Founded in 1973, MPW offers a highly flexible curriculum of unrivalled depth and breadth, comprising GCSE, A level, University Foundation and Easter Revision courses. The group enjoys a reputation for value-added exam results, university placements and strong pastoral care.
MPW teaches 1,200 students on roll each year, of which approximately 70% are British, 30% international. The MPW Group has a highly consistent record of exam results; in 2018, the most commonly achieved A level result was A*/A. All three colleges have attained maximum scores in all UK government inspection reports.
In 2014 we successfully introduced the University of London International Foundation Programme at our MPW London college. Following this success, the IFP will now also be taught at MPW Cambridge. MPW is one of only three institutions in the UK approved to teach this foundation programme with academic direction by the University of London. In addition, we also offer the NCUK International Foundation Year at our Birmingham campus to give students the skills they need to succeed at university.
