Inigo Jones and the new language for architecture
This seminar, which illustrates the origins of the language of English classical architecture in the Italian Renaissance, traces the theory of classicism from Palladio and Vignola up to Inigo Jones, who famously established a new language for English architecture in the early 1600s. It also offers suggestions for using the material with a CLIL approach.
