British Council Naples is recruiting teachers of English. We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic teachers who have the ability to teach everything from 5 year old beginners to adult Proficiency exam students.

Role overview
Full time teachers work for 36 hours per week. That breaks down as 24 hours teaching, 4 hours standby/ administration/development and 8 hours preparation.
In addition to teaching, all teachers must take part in the professional development programme of the centre and attend staff and teacher meetings. They are also required to carry out routine administration and customer care as required by the teaching centre, particularly the testing, counselling and registration of new students. More experienced teachers are encouraged to mentor those with less experience, work on teacher training projects and develop course materials.
Contract teachers are timetabled according to operational needs and currently work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, teaching any time from 10.00 to 21.00pm on week days and Saturday from 9am to 4.50pm. Teaching includes a wide range of both adult and young learner courses and teachers are required to be able to teach all ages and levels.
