Aspects of the Romantic Imagination
This seminar will investigate how the Romantics approached imagination and the value they placed on Love, Dream and Myth. It will explore Romantic visions of Nature, the divine, creativity and beauty. Space will be dedicated to the Romantic retrieval of the medieval world as well as their treatment of the Femme Fatale. The programme includes paintings, songs, poetry and video-clips.
