Songs of Spring
After the hardship of winter, spring is universally welcomed for its joyous association with rebirth, re-growth, rejuvenation and resurrection. This seminar takes the form of a poetry reading tracing poetic celebrations of the first season of the year, its moods, manifestations and metaphors, from the Middle Ages down to contemporary exultations and meditations.
